At Mind Over You, Inc., our mission is to provide high-quality, Relatable and 100% confidential counseling services to individuals, couples, families and children who are experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties.
Our team of licensed therapists have years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges. We specialize in a wide range of areas, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ptsd, adhd, ptsd, grief/loss, life changing issues and relationship issues. We believe that everyone has the ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are important overall health, and that therapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance.

Organizing community events to provide mental health awareness, education, prevention, and intervention in the minority communities. We educate on many mental health disorders/illnesses such as: Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Personality Disorders, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Suicide, and more. While providing coping skills and different evidenced based techniques to help initiate the process and healing of their individual struggles. All while breaking the stigmas of mental health to encourage individuals to seek a professional help when needed. MOY also provides free therapy to those in financial hardships when funding is available.
MOY has partnered with former WBC heavyweight Champion of the World , Bermane Stiverne who will lead the boxing camp. Benefits of the camp will consist of: Professional athletic training and conditioning, fundamental of boxing, Confidence building Decrease in gun violence,
Staying out of trouble and off the streets, Self control, Reduces stress, Decrease in anger management, Self defense, Good eating and sleeping habits Higher GPAs, Provides a positive support system,. This camp is also combined with the mental strength training by a mental health therapist that will incorporate self improvement, coping skills for teen anxiety, teen depression, self harm and suicide prevention for a total well being!
Providing free aftercare programs for middle and high school children to teach them coping skills, anger management, coping skills, self regulation skills, self-love, self-worth, good decision making skills, and positive thinking through a therapeutic approach called CBT ( Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) a evidenced based technique that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems. Teaching students anti bullying, suicide prevention, grief and loss, self esteem / self confidence, and better decision making skills.
